Situated in the village of Loans near Troon, the Old Loans Inn has a big reputation for food. Tam Cowan, the Daily Record’s top restaurant critic, awarded the SimpsInns property a maximum 25/25 food review. The once traditional coaching inn was completely transformed into today’s award-winning boutique hotel, restaurant and bar. The owners were careful to preserve the charm of the original country pub – including the original stone fireplace – but added a modern twist to ensure a wonderfully ambient dining experience for all the family.

The additional option of dining alfresco in the heated sunken beer garden is the prefect retreat in summer. Menus at the Old Loans Inn showcase many of the traditional SimpsInns favourites, which sit alongside new and innovative culinary creations to offer a wide range of choice.
