The Riverside Inn was recently bought by the family-owned SimpsInns group, one of the key players within the hospitality industry in Ayrshire. For years SimpsInns has carefully built up a wonderful reputation for great food and quality of service to match, traits carried through to The Riverside.

The Riverside gained wider recognition after top food critic Tam Cowan paid a visit recently and marked 5/5 for service and 4/5 for food and value for money. The renovated farmhouse sits on 11 acres of unspoilt countryside and mature woodland along the main A77 just south of Ayr on the outskirts of Minishant.

The property has great potential in the eyes of the owners, Malcolm and Karen Simpson. Stylish new menus were created for The Riverside, which includes some great new dishes and all the traditional favourites such as the Simply SimpsInns menu choice, available at all SimpsInns venues.
